Policies
Tuition
For your convenience, Miss Rachael’s Dance uses a monthly automated tuition system. All accounts are required to have a credit/debit card on file upon registration. Reoccurring monthly fees will post on the first of each month and be charged by the fifth of each month to your credit card or checking account on file and run from August though the following August. Fees will be prorated if a student is registered into a class in the middle of the month. Tuition is non-refundable once classes have begun. However, if you withdraw before classes begin then you will receive a full refund of tuition. A written submission stating that you would like to drop a class must be received by the 15th of the month to stop the automatic payment for the following month.
There are not refunds of tuition for classes you’re scheduled to attend whether or not you attend the class.
Our tuition is the same fee every month and based on a single class that meets four times in one month. However, some monthly sessions during our season have 5 dance classes during the month and some months have three classes during the month.
Dress Code
At Miss Rachael's Dance we have a required dress code. It is important for young dancers to attend class ready to learn with minimal distractions. Click here to order dress code items.
Family Discount
Siblings receive a 15% discount off of their tuition.
Trial Classes
We offer all registered dancers one free class per month to try a new genre. Please let the front desk know you are interested in taking your trial class. New students may take their first dance class as a free trial class. Please select trial when enrolling for class.
Late Pick Up Policy
Please be at the studio to pick up your dancer on time. A $10.00 courtesy charge will be charged to you for a staff member having to watch your child for longer than 10 minutes past the office hours. Please don’t rely on staff to watch unattended children between classes.
Communication
Information regarding rehearsals, performances, studio closed dates and upcoming studio events will be provided via the Miss Rachael's Dance website, email, quarterly newsletters and on our Facebook and Instagram pages.
Studio Closures
The studio will be closed for all major holidays. The exact dates are listed here.
Inclement Weather
In the event of inclement weather, MRD uses Denver Public School District as a guide for closures. If the studio is closed due to inclement weather families will be notified through e mail and there will be a notice on our website homepage.
MRD Recitals
Dancers enrolled in a 2 - 3, 3 - 4 and 4 - 5 year combo will perform in an informal showing at the theatre in December and May. Dancers enrolled in classes for 5+ will perform in a traditional theatre setting recital in both December and May.
Recital Fees
These fees help to offset the costs of backstage management, setup, rental, lighting, logistics, and operations.
Ages 2 - 4 (tots recital) = $15 recital fee
Ages 5+ = $35 recital fee
