Spring Recital
(5-7 yr, 6-8 yr, 7-10 yr, Jazz/Lyrical, Hip hop Fusion, Movers & Level) - Saturday May 11th
(2-3 yr, 3-4 yr, 4-5 yr & 4-6 yr classes) - Sunday May 19
Recital Preparation
Your dancer will be measured for costumes during the month of January during their regularly scheduled dance class.
NOTE: Dancers are automatically opted in to participate. If your dancer is not able to participate and you will not be ordering a recital costume please email admin@MissRachaelsDance.com by January 31st to avoid being charged a recital costume fee.
*JCC classes must register for the recital through our MRD portal
Recital costumes will be distributed in your dancer's regular class.
SPRING RECITAL
(5-7 yr , 6-8 yr, 7-10 yr, Jazz/Lyrical, Hip hop Fusion, Movers & Level)
Saturday May 11th
There are three Spring Recitals. Please see below to locate your dancer's class and recital time. Please plan to leave your dancer with us for the entire dress rehearsal and recital. Dancers cannot be picked up early. This is a closed rehearsal. Dancer check in and check out is in the lobby. Dancers must arrive in full recital costume on the dress rehearsal and recital day. The dress rehearsal is a technical rehearsal and is a rehearsal of choreography, costumes, lights, sound and staging. We aim to run the schedule right on time but sometimes we may need to rehearse a dance again for technical reasons. We appreciate your patience in advance during dancer drop off and dancer pick up.
SHOE & HAIR INSTRUCTIONS
* All tap/ballet combo classes will start the recital in ballet shoes and hair in a bun.
* All lyrical/jazz classes will start the recital in jazz shoes and hair in a low ponytail.
* All hip hop classes need black tennis shoes with white soles and hair back away from face.

Dress Rehearsal: Tuesday May 7th
Dancer check in 4:00-4:20 pm / Dancer check out at 5:30 pm
Recital: Saturday May 11th, 10:30-11:30 am
Dancer check in 9:50-10:20 am / Dancer check out at 11:30 am
Recital 2
Dress Rehearsal: Tuesday May 7th
Dancer check in 6:00-6:20 pm / Dancer check out at 7:30 pm (Catalyst Dance check out 8:15 pm)
Recital: Saturday May 11th, 12:30-1:30 pm
Dancer check in 11:50-12:20 pm / Dancer check out at 1:30 pm
Recital 3
Recital 3: 2:30-3:30 pm
Rehearsal - Wed May 8th
Level 1 & 2 - Check in 3:40-4:00pm. Check out 7:45pm
Break from 5:00-6:00 pm. Check back in by 6:00pm. Dancers need to be picked up or have an adult with them during break.
Level 3 & 4 - Check in 4:30-4:45pm. Check out 8:00pm.
Please have your dancer bring food with them.
Mini, Little & Junior Movers - Check in 5:30-5:45pm. Check out 7:30pm.
Please send with a water bottle.
Recital: Saturday May 11th, 2:30-3:30 pm
Dancer check in 2:00-2:20 pm / Dancer check out at 3:30 pm
SPRING TOTS RECITAL
(2-3 yr, 3-4 yr, 4-5 yr & 4-6 yr classes) - Sunday May 19th
There are three Tots recitals. Please see below to locate your dancer's class and recital time.
NOTE: Dancers do not need a ticket. Dancers will sit on your lap during the recital and be called up to the stage to perform. Each class will come on to the stage and perform 2-3 dances.
There will not be a dress rehearsal.
Please have your dancer arrive in full costume with tights, hair in a bun and wearing only the dance shoes listed below. Any hair accessories please clip on the right side of dancers bun. Recital costumes will be passed out in your dancer's class as costumes arrive at the studio.
Recital 1
Recital: Sunday May 19th, 9:30-10:00 am
Please arrive between 9:00-9:30 am. Recital starts promptly at 9:30 am.
Recital 2
Recital: Sunday May 19th, 11:00-11:30 pm
Please arrive between 10:30-11:00 am. Recital starts promptly at 11:00 am.
Recital 3
Recital: Sunday May 19th, 12:30-1:00 pm
Please arrive between 12:00-12:30 pm. Recital starts promptly at 12:30 pm.
